So what makes me different from other photographers that you've worked with? Most of them are probably music fans, and some may be musicians themselves. They may have experience playing on stage, working at a venue, or even booking bands. I have experience in all three! As such, I understand the pressure it can put on a musician when the band playing before them goes over their time, or when a bassist shows up hungover, or when a monitor catches on fire*.
With me, you can rest assured that your shots will turn out great, even if your set doesn't. I will work with you directly to find out what you want out of your shoot. I want to know where other photographers have let you down in the past. Is a guitarist making the same goofy face in every shot? Is the mic stand blocking your one finger salute? Are there never, ever, any pictures of the drummer, ever?
I will get the shots you're after. I will get on stage with you, I will get in the middle of a circle pit, and I will even climb the walls of the venue if I think I can get away with it. I do what I do not just as a job, but as a passion, for a thrill, and for the love of music and art.
*I have personally seen this happen TWICE.
